[Also in Division B2] A sieve carrier 1 is suspended from a fixed frame by two hangers 3<SP>1</SP>, mounted adjacent a driving unit 2 which imparts a substantially horizontal to-and-fro movement to the carrier 1, and a hanger 3<SP>11</SP> pivotally attached to the centre of the opposite end of the carrier 1. The inclination of the hangers may be varied by means of a hand wheel 13 actuating screw spindles 4 connected by a shaft 12 and helical gear-wheels 11. The hanger 3<SP>11</SP> is acted upon by a spring 6.
