984,179. Protective sheaths. DEMAG ELECTROMETALLURGIE G.m.b.H. Nov. 5, 1963 [Dec. 15,1962], No. 43722/63. Heading D1T. [Also in Division H2] The Figure shows a short length of protective sheathing for an electric conductor. The sheath or sleeve is formed from two halves butted together on the right and provided with grooves and projections on the left. Both the plain and interlocking joints are cemented together. Air circulation holes are provided in the curved surfaces of the sleeves. Alternative constructions of joints are described (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown).
