A screening box 2, mounted on rubber bearings 8 in a frame 1 and vibrated' by eccentric weights 3a and motor 3, is embraced above and below between the runs of an endless band screen 4. The screen may be of rubber or plastics and is driven continuously or intermittently in contact with the rails 7 on the screen box. The throughput is collected for lateral discharge on a shoot 10 inside the box.
