Abstract

Body, inter frame and base of the screen are separated by elastic elements. The inter frame carries the driving motor and plummer blocks supporting an eccentric shaft connected to the screen body to give a circular oscillating motion in a vertical plane. Advantageously the inter frame is U-shaped to clear the screen outlets. The screen is used for cleaning and/or classifying granules or like material. Transmission of vibration is minimised without undue belt wear from variable centre distance as in known arrangements.
