Abstract

1,086,456. Screening apparatus; filters for liquids. STAMICARBON N.V. Feb. 15, 1965 [Feb. 19, 1964], No. 6483/65. Headings B1D and B2H. The screen 3 is turned end for end to even out the wear by first rolling the screen assembly over a supporting track 15 to the position shownchain dotted clear of the feeder 1, rotating the upper assembly 7 through 180 degrees on its bearings 13 and then returning the screen assembly to its original position. When in use, material retained by the screen is discharged over a guide plate 9 and material passing through the screen is discharged through an opening 11.
