Abstract

1,035,630. Endless belt throwers. F. W. PAURAT. Oct. 16, 1964 [Nov. 27, 1963], No. 42290/64. Heading B8A. A slinging roll of a belt-type slinger comprises two pulleys 5 with a cylinder 12 of flexible sheet material between them. The cylinder bears on an endless belt 4 which may be driven by a roll 3A and supported on rolls 3B (Fig. 1, not shown). Stub-shafts 5a for the pulleys 5 are mounted in flexible bearings. A vibrator may be fitted to one of the rotating components.
