Abstract

The viscosity of the dextrin solutions produced according to the parent Specification is increased by heating the solutions above 100 DEG C. The heating, e.g. 110-120 DEG C. for 30 minutes, may be carried out immediately after completion of the enzymatic hydrolyses or after dilution of the dextrin solution.ALSO:The dextron solutions disclosed in the parent Specification are heated above 100 DEG C., to produce solutions of increased viscosity. The heating may be carried out immediately after completion of the enzymatic hydrolysis or after dilution of the dextron solution.
