Abstract

961,349. Protective arrangements. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. Feb. 6, 1962 [Feb. 10, 1961], No. 4457/62. Headings H2H and H2K. A circuit for disconnecting a load 6 from a supply St when the voltage is outside a determined range comprises a device VSt equipped preferably with Schmitt trigger circuits comparing the voltage at St with a reference source (not shown) which normally delivers a positive voltage at lines 3, 4. When the voltage is above or below the range, a negative potential appears at 3 or 4 rendering T4 conductive and after a time determined by timing pulses delivered to terminal 2, transistor T5 conductive also. A positive pulse is then applied through a capacitor C1 and diode D3 which turns bi-stably arranged transistor T3 off and T2 on, thus cutting off transistor T1. Relays AL may be provided for indicating the state of the bi-stable transistors T2, T3. When the voltage returns to normal a positive voltage on lines 8, 9 reverses the state of the bi-stable circuit.
