Abstract

928,923. Capacitive voltage transformers; protective arrangements. MICAFIL A.G. Nov. 22, 1960 [Nov. 25, 1959], No. 40078/60. Addition to 828,365. Class 38 (4). A modification of the circuit shown in Fig. 3 of the parent Specification in order to prevent undesirable oscillatory conditions from tripping network protection relays, provides for the impedance Z 2 to be in series with a resistor R which itself has a further impedance Z 3 either in series or parallel connection with it. The impedance Z 3 possesses a falling impedance characteristic to rising potentials as, for example, voltage-dependent resistors, rectifiers used in their forward direction or saturable reactors.
