Abstract

968,475. Transistor switching circuits. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. April 30, 1962 [April 28, 1961], No. 16525/62. Addition to 888,306. Drawings to Specification. Heading H3T. The transistor switching circuit of the parent Specification has the resistor 4 replaced by a non-linear resistor. The resistor may be a diode producing a voltage drop which is less dependent upon output current so that when, for example, an unsmoothed supply is being switched the output transistor remains saturated over a wider range of output current. The invention is also applicable when more than two transistors are cascaded.
