A wheeled invalid chair has two pivotally mounted footrests which are adjustable vertically and angularly so that one footrest may be set relatively higher than the other, and each at different angles. A tube a, which is slidably adjustable vertically in a tube of the chair, carries a horizontal anxle a<SP>1</SP> on which a channelshaped part b<SP>1</SP> of a footrest b is adapted to pivot. A shoulder b<SP>2</SP> of the footrest b abuts against the head of a bolt c which screws into either a fixed nut d on the tube a, or the tapped hole of a solid plug of metal inserted into the tube a. The inclination of the footrest is altered by adjusting the bolt c.
