[Also in Division H2] An invalid chair has a back rest-frame 4 pivoted at 3 to brackets 2 secured to the seat frame so that when the detachable handle-bar 24 is removed the back rest may be pivoted downwardly. The seat frame carries a forward extension 11 which supports footrests 19 on pivot axes 20, 21 allowing them to be moved to a vertical stowage position.
