Abstract

953,283. Container closures. BAXTER LABORATORIES Inc. Oct. 1, 1962 [Nov. 7, 1961], No. 37025/62. Heading B8T. A bottle closure comprises a resilient plug stopper 14 which has two passages 15 and 16, a flexible resilient disc 24 covering the top of the stopper and a resilient cap 25, which has a central translucent section 25c. A vacuum within the bottle is indicated by dimples formed in the disc 24 at the ends of the passages 15 and 16, the dimples being visible through the translucent section. In use the portion 25c of the cap is removed by pulling the tab 28 and removing the disc 24. Specification 513,799 is referred to.
