Abstract

931,200. Bottle &c. closures. J. KROKER, J. FOX, S. KROKER, and H. REICHEL. Jan. 26, 1961 [Jan. 26, 1960], No. 3102/61. Class 125(3). A tamper proof closure 4 has at least one integral web 9, and a ring 10 adapted to fit a groove in the container neck. The device is preferably of a plastics material, and the ring 10 is inserted in the groove 11 by pressing, shrinking, or elastic contraction. The web(s) has a weakened port 12, and the tab 7 facilitates removal of the cap. Loss of the closure may be prevented by a web which acts like a hinge. In another embodiment, a single web is used in conjunction with a plug or stopper.
