Abstract

939,073. Tanks. A.-B. INTERCONSULT. Aug. 3, 1960 [Aug. 10, 1959], No. 26914/60. Class 69 (1). [Also in Group XXXII] A transport assembly for liquid or pulverulent materials, comprises a tank 1 having spherical and conical portions 1a 1b, and frameworks 7, 10, 18, 19 (Figs. 2, 4) and 8, 10, 21, 22 (Figs. 2, 5) secured, e.g. by welding, to the portion la and to a supporting-ring 9 which is also secured to portion la. Reinforcing members 11, internal of portion 1a, extend between the points where members 10 are connected to the tank. Members 10 are interconnected by a metal member 14 and a curved cover sheet 15 and the assembly is further strengthened by U-shaped members 16 (Fig. 3), metal sheets 12 and gusset plates 17, Figs. 4, 5. The assembly can have wheels, Fig. 1, and more than one tank can be included in the assembly, Fig. 8, not shown.
