Abstract
936,707. Multi-storey buildings. J. HOHLA. Dec. 14, 1961 [Dec. 14, 1960], No. 44762/61. Class 20 (1). A multi-storey building comprises a central pillar or pillars 2, 2<SP>1</SP> having vertically spaced openings to receive horizontal main trusses 3, 3<SP>1</SP> carrying pairs of floor slabs 1, 1<SP>1</SP> for details of which, Fig. 6 (not shown) should be referred to. The main trusses are made from steel tube, sheet metal or reinforced concrete. The pillars also support steel or reinforced end beam 8 which are hollow and utilized for heating or airconditioning purposes.
