924,118. Hair driers. E. VENTURI, [trading as ELETTROPLASTICA SUPER ELETTRODOMESTICI.]. Jan. 22, 1962 [March 8, 1961], No. 2237/62. Class 81 (2). A hair drier made in the shape of a bird comprises a rear component 3, a front component 1 having a forwardly extending pipe 2 in the form of a beak which houses electrical heating coils 6 and serves as an air outlet, and a horizontal partition 7 which is provided by the front and rear components and divides the body of the device into an upper chamber 12 for receiving cold air through slots 4 in the rear component and a lower chamber 12<SP>1</SP> which receives and circulates the air. An electric motor 11 is supported in the upper chamber and drives a fan 10 in the lower chamber, the fan shaft 9 extending through an aperture 8 in the partition.
