Class 126 A blower for a domestic fire comprises a casing with an air inlet, an impeller within a housing removably mounted within the casing, a conduit to carry air from the casing to the fire, and a resilient connection between the conduit and the casing. A rigid metal or plastic housing 7 containing a fan 9 and electric motor 8 is enclosed in a rubber casing 1 with moulded feet 5 and a conical end part 2 connecting the casing with an outlet tube 4. A conduit 14 with an axial outlet or one or more radial outlets 15 is a push fit into the resilient outlet tube 4. The conduit 14 may'be wholly or partly covered by heat insulating material, and thermally insulated from the casing 1. It may be in two or more parts, connected by heat insulating parts, and the parts may be separable. The open ends of the housing 7 are protected by grids or gratings 12. The conduit 14 may be flexible.
