489,475. Respiratory appliances. BEZ, C., and BEZ, P. May 27, 1937, No. 35661. Divided out of 484,638. [Class 81 (ii)] [Also in Group VII] In a garment 1, impervious to war and other gases, and supplied with air through a filter 2 by a rotary fan 4 driven by an electric motor 5, the air is delivered to a head-enclosing part through a flexible tube 10. The fan and motor are enclosed in a casing 3 supported on a belt 12 which also carries a dry cell 6 connected to the motor through a rheostat 8. The motor may be energized from electric mains. Specification 484,638 is referred to.
