[Class 137] A ventilator for use on buildings and vehicles comprises a shaft 4 in which is arranged an ogee-shaped baffle 6 which in combination with the curved vanes 8 and 9 induces a flow of air upwards through the shaft. The ventilator is provided with a weather-hood 14 and may be of any convenient shape e.g. rectangular or circular.
