Abstract

Air humidifier operates on the evaporation principle by heating collected water and ejecting this in the form of water vapour. The water is heated as a result of radiation from heaters (5, 6) of the water in the container (3). Preferably, bar heaters are used which are accommodated over the surface of the water in a bowl (3) acting as water container. Reflectors (7, 8) should be placed behind the heaters, viewed from the bowl water surface. The housing (1) above the water (4) containing both heaters and reflectors should have slotted openings (13) to enable the water vapour rising from the water to draw in fresh air. The bowl should be of pull-out drawer design placed on a push-in slide (42).
