Abstract
920,635. Electric clocks. DUROWE A.G. March 31, 1959 [March 28, 1958], No. 10873/59. Class 139. In an electric watch the balance 17, Fig. 1, is maintained in oscillation by a circuit including two fixed permanent magnets 82, 84, a coil 80 carried by the balance and two transistors 102, 106, Fig. 4. The circuit elements are in a container 120, Fig. 1, within the watch case. An impulse pin 16 steps-on the ratchet wheel 20 rigid with a star wheel 22 which drives the seconds wheel 25. Spring-loaded detents 41, 51 prevent reverse rotation of the gears 20, 25. The detent 41 may be replaced by an adjustable permanent magnet.
