Abstract

918,927. Jet looms. MACHINEFABRIEK L. TE STRAKE N.V. Dec. 23, 1959 [June 19, 1959], No. 43754/59. Class 142 (2). To pick the weft a number of blowing nozzles 7, 8 are provided, each nozzle 8 being pivoted to withdraw it from the shed during beat up and arranged to receive the weft from the previous nozzle and transport it to the next. The nozzles are of the " ejector " type where the blowing air creates a suction at an inlet 4 to draw the weft into the path of the blowing air.
