Abstract

A cleaning composition which is especially useful for cleaning railway carriages comprises (a) sulphamic acid, and (b) a C10-14-kerylbenzene sulphonate. A preferred composition, which is used as a 5% w/v solution in water, consists of 92,2% sulphamic acid, 7,25% kerylbenzene sulphonate, 0,3% of a nonylphenolethylene oxide condensate, and 0,25% nonanol. Specification 832,105 is referred to.ALSO:A composition which is useful for removing rust and scale from steel sheet comprises (a) sulphamic acid, and (b) a C10-14-kerylbenzene sulphonate. A preferred composition, which is used as a 5% w/v. solution in water, consists of 92.2% sulphamic acid, 7.25% kerylbenzene sulphonate, 0.3% of a nonylphenol-ethylene oxide condensate, and 0.25% nonanol. Specification 832,105 is referred to.
