Abstract

911,731. Concrete mixers. LINER CONCRETE MACHINERY CO. Ltd. Sept. 18, 1961 [Sept. 27, 1960], No. 33097/60. Class 86. In a mixing-machine of the kind having a drum 10 with a filling opening 19 at one end and a discharge opening 20 at the other, the drum rotating on a fixed horizontal axis X-X and being discharged by reversing its direction of rotation, the drum is reversibly driven by an hydraulic motor 16 through gearing 18, 12 as shown, or directly through a driving shaft. The motor may be adjusted for speed and duration by the channel control valve 21 or there may be separate motors to drive the drum at different speeds and/or in opposite directions. Pressure fluid may be supplied by a pump or pumps 14 driven by a motor 13, or by hydraulic mains.
