[Also in Group XXIX] A non-tilting rotary drum mixer A of the type having a feed opening at one end and a discharge opening at the other is driven through reduction gearing C by an hydraulic vector B supplied with pressure fluid by a pump D and having a manual control F<SP>1</SP> for mixing (forward), neutral (off), and discharge (reverse) positions. Relief valves M, N are provided to prevent cavitation in the pipe-lines when the position of the control F<SP>1</SP> is changed (see also Group XXIX).
