909,696. Rotary motors; hydraulic turbines. VOITH G.m.b.H., J. M. March 25, 1959 [March 28, 1958], No. 10309/59. Classes 110 (2) and 110 (3). In a rotary motor of the oscillating piston type comprising a pair of double-acting pistons 2, 2a and 3, 3a adapted to regulate the guide vanes 36 of an hydraulic turbine, the casing ring is made up of a number of flanged segments such as 8, 9, 10 and 11. Each segment consists of straight pipe sections such as 15, 16 and the segments 8, 9 are slotted to permit the pistons to be secured to the turbine cover, see Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown). Each piston cooperates with packings 26 and is divided in a vertical plane, the component parts being interconnected by flanges 28, 29.
