Abstract

773,430. Elastic-fluid turbines. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. April 28, 1955 [April 28, 1954], No. 12330/55. Class 110 (3). The multi-stage axial-flow steam turbine shown is assembled by first inserting an undivided housing 5 in the outer undivided housing 2 and securing said parts together by bolts 9. The two halves of the guide blade carrier section 3 are then placed over the blading and the carrier body 11 is fitted over the member 3 with the slide blocks 17 and the bolts 18 in position, the members 3, 11 being interconnected by bolts 15. The parts 3, 11 together with the guide blade carrier section 4 and the shaft are then inserted in tne nousmg i wnereupon a stop ring 16 is inserted to locate the member 11 relative to the housing 5. A carrier body 20 is now fitted over the member 4 and clamped thereto by slide blocks 32 carried by bolts 33 whereupon a sealing ring 28 is positioned and held in place by a stop-ring 29. Finally the radial bolts 24 are inserted, a screen 36 is fitted by screwthreaded blocks 34 and the cover 2 is positioned.
