235,171. Kieswetter, J. June 5, 1924, [Convention date]. Blades; leakage - preventing devices. - The clearance space 10 between the turbine guide blades 5 and the rotor blades 2 is packed at the outer circumference by axial and radial packings 12, 21, and at the inner circumference by packings 11, 20 also acting in the axial and radial directions as shown. In a modification, in place of the separate member 20, the extension 11 is provided with a radial edge bearing on a projecting surface on the rotor 1.
