Classes 7(2) and 7(3) [Also in Group XXVI] A fuel injection system particularly for a diesel engine or a petrol injection engine comprises a float 20 movable with the fuel level in an auxiliary fuel tank 12, supplied with fuel from a main tank, to actuate a control device so as automatically to stop the engine when the float falls to a level representing a dangerous low level for the fuel supply (see also Group XXVI). There may be provided an audible or visual warning device. Thus the device may be used to warn the operator that the fuel supply is about to run out.
