Alloys suitable for forming by casting parts such as turbine blades which are subjected to stress at high temperatures have compositions in the following range in per cent. by weight:-Cr over 15,0-22,0; Co 5,0-25,0; Ti plus Al 6,0-10,5; B 0,005-0,1; C 0,05-0,5; Mo 0-15,0; Si 0-0,8; Mn 0-1,0; Fe 0-10,0; Zr 0-0,2; W 0-5,0; Nb and/or Ta 0-3,0; Ni and impurities the balance, the ratio Ti/Al being from 0,6 to 1,4.
