Abstract

875,552. Spray-producers. COMPAGNIE FRANCAISE DES LUBRIFIANTS. Feb. 1, 1960 [Dec. 18, 1959], No. 3453/60. Class 69 (3). A container I for liquid to be sprayed has an airtight cover 2, and compressed air is supplied to it via a pipe 16, stop valve 15, pressure reducer 14, non - return valve 13 and a pipe 11. The air flows upwardly through the liquid from branch pipes 12, and a valve 9 allows a controlled leakage of air from the container. The thus emulsified liquid is forced through a tube 29 and via a filter 30, stop valve 37 and tube 38 to an air-liquid mixer 8 supplied with compressed air from a tube 42 fed from the upper part of the container. The resulting mist is fed by a pipe 46 to one or more outlets, e.g. a gun. The mixer body 39, Fig. 4, is fed at 41 with the compressed air, and the liquid is supplied to a branch 47 via an injector 48 having helical ducts whereby the liquid is whirled before entering the main chamber 39a. The cover 2 carries a safety valve 10.
