Abstract
752,740. Spray-producers &c. STEINKOHLENBERGWERK HANNOVER-HANNIBAL AKT.-GES. Sept. 15, 1954 [Sept. 17, 1953], No. 26816/54. Class 69 (3). A cylindrical container 1 carried on the person is divided by partitions 3, 4 and 5 into a brine chamber 2A, an aerosol chamber 3A, and a highpressure air chamber 4A. The latter chamber has an aperture 10 for a compressed-air filling valve, and compressed air flows through apertures 11 in a tube 6, under the control of a regulator 12, and passes downwardly through the tube to a number of nozzles 16 arranged with their outlets below the liquid surface. The brine is thereby atomized and flows via baffles 18 and apertures 19 into the aerosol chamber. Flexible aerosol supply pipes or nozzles are connected to branch ducts 20. The tube 6 is axially adjustable to vary the depth of the nozzles 16 below the liquid surface.
