Abstract

809,161. Piston extrusion apparatus. EVOMASTICS Ltd., and BRIANT, J. H. Feb. 21, 1957 [March 5, 1956], No. 6809/56. Class 102(2). A cartridge container for a sealing compound comprises a cylindrical body 13 closed at one end by a piston 14 and having at the other end a closure 15 having a projecting outlet 16 to which a detachable nozzle 17 may be secured. The cartridge is a slidable fit in a body 1 of an extrusion gun having a detachable ring 5 at one end and at the other an inlet 8 for pressure gas for driving the piston 14. A cone shaped member 7 provides a fluid tight seating for the cartridge 13.
