Abstract

1,134,124. Spray-producers. INDUSTRIAS CERVELLO S.A. 21 July, 1966 [23 July, 1965], No. 32719/66. Heading B2F. A spray producer suitable for inhalation therapy or spraying lacquers and adapted for use with a compressible container comprises a cap member 1 formed with a curved internal surface 3 and an axial air inlet passage 4, and an axially movable valve member 5 provided with a stem 6 and arranged when pressure is applied to the container to seal the air inlet passage. An inclined &c. spray discharge outlet 7 may be formed in the cap or an axial outlet may be farmed in the stem 6, fig. 2 (not shown). The riser tube 10 supports a stationary member 8 which is provided with separate passages for the air and liquid and supports the member 5 when pressure is released from the container. Slots may be provided in the stem 6 or on the walls of the passage 4. A ring of silicone &c. may ensure a good fit between the valve and the surface 3. The discharge outlet in the cap may be inclined and the stem provided with an internal passage, the outlet and the stem being in register.
