Abstract

1,091,425. Spray-producers. WERNER & MERTZ G.m.b.H. Sept. 14, 1965 [Sept. 24, 1964], No. 39195/65. Heading B2F. A spray head adapted to be connected to a flexible container comprises a closure member 1 having an air inlet passage 5, a valve member 9 arranged to be moved axially of the container under the internal pressure thereof when the container is compressed so as to engage a seating 7 and close the air passage 5, and a passage 12 of triangular cross-section formed within the valve member and containing a riser tube 13 for the liquid and providing air discharge passages 15. The liquid and the air from the passages 13 and 15 respectively are mixed in a chamber 16 and expelled through a nozzle 17 attached to the valve member. In the inoperative position a cap 4 covers the nozzle and excess liquid returns to the container via the passage 5.
