616,755. Shot-gun cartridges. SOULET, A. Sept. 11, 1946, No. 27349. [Class 9 (i)] A cartridge case I machined from a bar of metal or manufactured from thermo-setting plastic material has a frusto-conical chamber 2 with a reinforced wall to receive the powder charge, the base-cap 3 being axially perforated at 4 to house a percussion cap and in the forward end of the case 1 is an annular groove 6 to receive a closure disc 5 of cardboard or other fibrous material.
