An ammunition cartridge case 1 made of a synthetic thermoplastic material has a base section 2 and a case wall that extends rearwardly as far as the rear end of the base section and is formed with an extractor flange 4 at its rear end and has an air and water-tight sealing foil 6 welded; or stuck, on its rear end, so covering the base section and the primer 3. Specification 875,240 is referred to.
