Abstract

1435053 Sealant guns PRODUCTS RESEARCH & CHEMICAL CORP 28 Jan 1974 [12 March 1973] 03776/74 Heading F1R The supply and exhaust of compressed air to the actuating chamber of a pneumatically actuated dispensing gun is controlled by alternately collapsing the inlet and exhaust conduits. As shown a trigger member 31 has damping portions 32, 33 co-operating with respective abutment pins 36, 37 between which the respective inlet and exhaust conduits 21, 22 pass. The trigger is normally biased to close the inlet conduit 21. Flow may be regulated by adopting intermediate positions of the trigger. The head 61 receives a cartridge which is enclosed by a retainer 52 screwed on to the head 61. Screwed adapters may be used to accommodate larger or smaller cartridges and retainers Figs. 6-8 (not shown).
