Class 20(3) A draught- and weather-excluder for a door or window comprises a lightweight bar 4 fixed to the threshold pad 3 or to the sill of a casement frame and provided with a lip 7 co-operating with a curled rim 5 fixed to the lower rail 1 of a door or window sash. The chord of the arc of the rim 5 is parallel to the plane of the door or window. The threshold pad 3 slopes downwardly towards the bar 4 to form a trough 12; water is drawn out of the trough through weep holes 10 by means of a small wind tunnel 11 formed between the bar 4 and baffle plates 9 riveted to the bar.
