Abstract

212,855. Smith, H. J. Dec. 3, 1923. Hinged-sliding windows.-The pane of a window sash is pivotally connected to the sash, and moulding- members 10, 11, normally disposed at the vertical sides of the sash, have supporting - bars 12 - - 15, which are pivoted to the sash. The supporting - bars and moulding - members form pivoted frames adapted to be swung out to support the glass in outward positions. Metal plates 5, 6 are pivoted to the rails 1, 2 and the window pane is secured to the plates by moulding members 8, 9.
