260,874. Atkinson, J. B., Smith, J. W., and Mitchell, A. May 7, 1926. Fanlights; reversible windows.-The pivoting arrangements for window sashes described in Specification 254,140 are replaced by two members each having a convex quadrant face 9 fixed to the lower corners of the sash and two members 3 each having a corresponding concave face 5 fixed to the frame. The members 3 are provided with stops 6 and 7 for the vertical and horizontal positions of the sash and projections 8 on the members 3 engage recesses 10 on the sash members to prevent withdrawal in the horizontal position. The sash may be removed from the frame when tilted. The sash and sill, and if desired the meeting rails, are correspondingly stepped and inclined to exclude weather.
