Abstract

An abrasive article such as a grinding wheel comprises diamond grains bonded by a resinoid metal or ceramic bond and up to 5% of boron nitride. The powdered constituents are hot pressed and bronze containing boron nitride is given as an example of a metal bond.ALSO:An abrasive article such as a grinding wheel comprises diamond grains bonded by a resinoid metal or ceramic bond and up to 5% of boron. nitride. The boron nitride is incorporated with the other powdered ingredients, and the mixture is hot pressed in the conventional manner. Bronze containing boron nitride is given as an example of a metal band.
