873,714. Collapsible tubes. GOMM, K. D. March 4, 1960 [Feb. 20, 1959], No. 5864/59. Class 66. A container comprises a collapsible body 1 and a flexible outer casing 5 which are secured to a closure member 2 formed with a nozzle 3. When the casing is squeezed pressure on the body 1 is increased and the body is compressed so forcing the contents of the container out through the nozzle. On releasing the casing air flows into the space 12 through a non-return valve 8. The non-return valve may comprise a flexible disc which covers an opening in the casing.
