Abstract

599,896. Powder distributers; portable liquid containers. HANDLEY, W. A. Nov. 7, 1945, No. 29719. [Classes 18 and 66] A container, from which powder or liquidcan be ejected by pressing one or both of the flexible end walls 3, has a spout 7 attached to the peripheral wall 5 adjacent an aperture 8 to obtain discharge of the contents in a substantially tangential direction. The spout terminates in an end wall 6 with one or more orifices 4, that may be closed by a removable pin, or with a throat-like extension 9, Fig. 4, to which a push-on closure cap 10a or a screw cap may be applied. The container may be made of plastic material and the body parts and the spout secured together by adhesive. The wall 5 or the spout may have a flattened portion to allow the container to stand with the end walls upright.
