Abstract

1,267,887. Container closures. H. BAVNSFELT. 20 Aug., 1970, No. 40185/70. Heading B8T. An appliance for dispensing liquids, powder or paste comprises a bottle 1, on to which a part 5 is screwed. A shoulder 15 on the part 5 serves to hold the flange 14 of a tubular member 13 against the neck 2 of the bottle 1. The member 13 has an aperture 18 and a narrow spout 17 for dispensing the contents of the bottle 1. The part 5 is provided with a threaded portion 7 by means of which a cap 9 can be fitted over the member 13. The lower threaded portion 4 of the part 5 abuts a flange on the bottle 1 when the appliance is firmly in position, but in another embodiment (Fig. 6, not shown) the bottom of part 5 is provided with internal projections (22) which clip over the flange (23). The member 13 may be of plastics.
