712,882. Piston extrusion apparatus. DOORNIK, J. M. M. VAN. Oct. 23, 1952 [Oct.. 23, 1951; Nov. 23, 1951], No. 26601/52. Class 102 (2). Apparatus for dispensing pastes comprises a container 1 open at the bottom and having a discharge nozzle 2 closed by a cap 4. The container has a piston 5 and the lower end 3 of the cap is the same diameter as the inside of the tube 1 so that it may be inserted to press against the piston 5 to eject the contents; the opening 8 may be flared to facilitate the entry of the cap. The piston may have a projection 13 of the same diameter as the nozzle 2 to form a guide for the cap. Alternatively or in addition, the tube 1 may have a sleeve 14 screwed in the end in which may slide the cap 12 as shown in Fig. 3.
