Abstract

855,064. Containers ; stoppers. DOMESTOS Ltd. June 8, 1959 [March 6, 1958], No. 7204/58. Classes 66 and 125(3). A " squeeze-to-use " container for dispensing liquid, pastry or finely powdered materials has a cap 5 with a vent 7 to allow gas bleed from the container and is formed with metal end plates 1 and 2, a flexible wall 3, and nozzle 4. Either the cap 5 or the nozzle 4 or both these members is or are of plastics material or rubber. The vent 7, which is in the form of a groove 0À02 inch wide and 0À02 inch deep, may be in the outside of the nozzle instead of in the inside of the cap. If the cap is of plastics and is screw-threaded on to the nozzle, the vent 7 need not extend down the side of either of these members. The container may be a flexible tube of plastics material.
