A container closure, e.g. for a collapsible tube, has a sharp circular edge 4 which forms a seal with an internally radiused portion 6 of a screwcap 5 by biting into its surface. The cap 5 may be of hard plastics and the nozzle of. metal; alternatively, either or both of these members may be of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride or polyvinylidene chloride.
