A carton collapsible flat for transport is folded up from a blank as shown, the base which is formed by interlocking flaps 14, 16 being inset by reason of intermediate portions 6, 8 which are turned up into the carton and stuck to the lower parts of the sides 2, 4. A glue flap 20 holds the sides together and portions 18 of the flaps 14 are struck to the under surface of the flaps 16.
